The grade is designed for fine and medium precision machining of stall 1 steel at sufficiently high cutting speeds and moderate feeds.
The 16x16 NNGd internal thread turning cutter, size 16x16, complies with the ISO 13 dimensional standard. It is turning tool for right-hand internal threads, with an angle of 60 degrees. It is designed for multi-batch machining in large industrial plants, as well as for amateur machining. It is turning tool for multi-cutting carbide inserts. A special grade of S30/P30 carbides is used. The properties of carbides make it increase the efficiency and accuracy of machining, and also increase the service life of tools. Lathe knives for internal threads 16x16 with S30/P30 carbide inserts are designed for medium precision and roughing of steel and cast steel at medium and low cutting speeds, as well as for large cross sections of the cut layer. They can be used on various types of conventional machine tools (lathes, milling machines) as well as on modern CNC computer-controlled machine tools.
