End mill 40mm for metal NFPa DIN-844 end mill, intended for peripheral and face milling. It is suitable for semi-finishing and finishing operations. It is manufactured to the DIN 844 AKN dimensional standard from modern high-speed steel (HSS). The end mills in our range offer high strength under very severe cutting conditions and high resistance to chipping. They are suitable for conventional and computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools. Both dry operation and operation with coolant are possible. One advantage of using Ø40 mm end mills for metalis that the axial forces acting on both sections of the cutter cancel each other out, while the specially balanced shank also helps minimize deflection and ridging on the machined surface.
