They are characterized by increased ductility ( high edge stability), increased durability and resistance to chipping and other mechanical damage. The properly balanced core of the cutter minimizes deflection and notching of the machined surface, and an additional advantage of using cutters is the mutual cancellation of axial forces occurring on both parts of the cutter. The cutters are recommended for medium fine and finishing machining. It is possible to work both dry and with coolant.
