The grade of carbide S30/P30 makes the turning knives suitable for realizing the machining of very hard materials, such as steel and cast steel with impurities. The high properties of the carbide allow medium-precision and coarse cutting, with medium and low cutting speeds and large cross sections of the cut layer. Right-hand 40x40 face turning knives for steel are also suitable for machining carried out in very heavy conditions. They are very hard and resistant to abrasion even under the influence of high temperatures generated during cutting at high speeds.
