It is made in accordance with ISO 6 dimensional standard, and H20/K20 carbide inserts have been used in the production. It is a carbide grade designed for medium fine and rough machining of cast irons at moderate cutting speeds and medium to high feeds under adverse and difficult machining conditions. Lathe knives of this type are suitable for machining cast iron with a hardness of about 220 HB, copper, copper alloys, light alloys of heat-resistant and heat-resistant materials, plastic masses, plastics and even wood. The 40x40 right offset side turning knives for cast iron with carbide brazed inserts are suitable for conventional and computer-controlled - CNC machine tools. The advantage of using carbide brazed inserts is above-average hardness, resistance to harsh cutting conditions, as well as the possibility of machining at very high temperatures.
