This is a turning tool left bent side gouge 50x32 for steel, designed for longitudinal and previous turning and undercutting. It is made in accordance with the ISO 3 dimensional standard, and type S30/P30 carbide inserts are used in the production of the cutters. This is a grade of carbide that gives the knives above-average hardness and durability. Lathe knives with a brazed insert of this carbide grade are designed for medium-precision and coarse machining of steel and cast steel at medium and low cutting speeds and significant cross sections of the cut layer. They are suitable for machining hard and difficult-to-machine materials under very difficult cutting conditions, including high temperatures created during machining at increased speeds.
