It is suitable for transverse and longitudinal turning and also for undercutting. Carbide inserts of grade H10/K10 are used in the production of the knife. It is designed for fine and medium precision machining of all grades of cast iron, alloy steels, austenitic steels, nonferrous alloys and other non-metallic materials that give short chips. Carbide brazed insert turning knives guarantee a long service life. This is due to increased wear resistance and also resistance to any mechanical damage.
