Professional turning tool filing nib 50x6x160. It is a steel with a rectangular cross-section, requiring proper turning to give it the right shapes and dimensions. It can be used to make shaped turning knives, radial knives, chisels, rippers and delineators. The turning knives on offer at our store are suitable for machining hard materials of the P1.2 class - P1.3. These include unalloyed steels, metals, non-ferrous metals, metal alloys and thermoset plastics. The knives are manufactured from modern high speed steel HSS (High Speed Steel). The properties of this steel affect both the greater strength of the tools to withstand harsh cutting conditions, as well as the longer service life and the ability to achieve higher machining efficiency. Knives made of HSS steel are distinguished by better cutting properties and are recommended for cutting very hard and hard-to-machine materials.
