Set of 5-40 inch UNC American hand taps
Set of 3-piece taps for American unified UNC threads, size No 5-40, UNC 2B made according to the dimensional standard DIN 352. Manufactured by the Czech company Bucovice. The taps are suitable for manual machining of very hard and hard-to-machine materials of P1.2 - P1.3. class These include unalloyed steels, automatic steels, metals, non-ferrous metals, copper and aluminum alloys, as well as thermo- and chemically-cured plastics. Unified hand taps are manufactured from modern high-grade HSS.
It is a tool steel with enhanced mechanical properties. They allow to improve the quality of machined surfaces and also significantly increase the efficiency of machining. An important advantage of threaders is also the possibility of machining hard materials in very heavy conditions. The blades of the taps are resistant to any mechanical damage, which significantly extends the service life of the tools.
