The dies can also be used to thread parts made of unalloyed steels, metals, nonferrous metals, metal alloys and hardened plastics. Their special advantage is increased resistance to very harsh machining conditions. First of all, fine threading dies of this type allow threading with increased speed, during which a temperature of up to 600 degrees C is generated. Even in such harsh conditions, the blades of the dies are resistant to mechanical damage, which increases the service life of the tool and reduces overall operating costs.
