Professional NPT 1/16-27 inch tapered thread cutter for American tapered pipe threads. Professional NPT 1/16-27 inch tapered, tubular-cylindrical thread cutter. Designed for cutting tubular-cylindrical threads. They are used in pipe connections, in installations. The dies in our store are made in accordance with DIN -EN 24231. Type of dies NHRa, tolerance class of made threads A, angle 55 degrees.

Complete execution of the thread takes place already in the first working pass, after less than two turns. Inch-tube-type dies of this type are suitable for machining unalloyed steels, metals, nonferrous metals, metal alloys and thermosetting plastics. The subject chasers are distinguished by their increased resistance to harsh cutting conditions, above all to the high temperature (up to 600 degrees C) created during high-performance threading - with increased speed. The dies are produced from modern HSS - High Speed Steel. This type of steel increases the hardness of the dies, as well as increases their resistance to possible mechanical damage (cracks, spurts, breakouts). The dies are suitable for machining materials of P1.2 class - P1.3.
