Tapping cap B - for machining various lengths of through-holes and blind holes in materials giving short chips. The 1/4-28 UNF unified machine threaders we offer are designed for threading parts made of very hard and hard-to-machine materials, including alloy steels, heat-resistant steels, acid-resistant steels, cast iron, cast steel, steel up to 800 MPa. The machine threaders in question are suitable even for cutting at very high speeds, during which very high temperatures are generated. The blades of the taps are resistant to mechanical damage (breaking, cracking, chipping, dulling). As a result, the tools can be used for a very long time.
