Professional NPT 1.1/2-11.1/2 tapered thread cutter designed for cutting American tapered pipe threads. It is suitable for manual and machine threading. Complete notching of the thread takes place already in the first working pass, after less than two turns. The inch-pipe threading dies offered in our store are made in accordance with the dimensional standard DIN-24230 from special high-grade molybdenum steel of HSS (High Speed Steel) grade.

This is a special high-speed steel that allows very good cutting parameters. Above all, our dies are suitable for high-performance and very accurate threading. They allow threading at high speeds, during which a high temperature is generated - up to 600 degrees C. The blades of the dies are resistant to all mechanical damage, including breakage, cracking, chipping chipping.
