The 0-1 0,001 dial sensor for magnetic articulating tripod offered by us is designed for precise indirect measurement. In order to make an accurate measurement, it is necessary to set the reference measurement beforehand. To do this, it is necessary to set the "0" position on the dial, and then measure the deviation from the reference value. Dial sensors 0-1 0,001 for lathe, milling machine are designed for quick measurements: height, runout and other dimensions. In exceptional situations it is possible to use dial sensors with a magnetic tripod for positioning workpieces in the machine. In such a situation, the magnetic tripod should be attached to the moving part of the spindle, and by making a rotary motion, we check the greatest swing of the pointer. After recording the X and Y positions from the spindle, we take a measurement from the other side of the workpiece. We then record the X value obtained at the maximum pointer tilt. To get the position 0 of the measured part, subtract the X1 value from the X2 value, and then divide the obtained result by 2.
