Turning tool PDJNL 20X20 K11 Akko is a precision tool designed for external turning, made in accordance with ISO standard. The 20 × 20 mm shank ensures the stability of clamping in the lathe vice, which directly affects the higher productivity of the cutting process and the reduction of vibrations.
The design of the knife is based on a D-type (lever-type) clamping system, allowing quick and secure clamping of the cutting insert. The cutter works with DNMG 1104 indexable inserts, which allows a wide range of applications in machining a variety of materials - from structural steels to stainless steels to cast iron.
Thanks to its 93-degree angle, the tool works well for both longitudinal turning and planing. Appropriate selection of insert corner radius (e.g. 0.4 mm, 0.8 mm) allows optimization of surface quality and tool life depending on technological requirements.
